What helps us quote
- The suburb and whether the tree is in the front yard, backyard or on the verge
- Roughly how tall it is compared with the house (single storey, double storey, higher)
- What you want done: removed, reduced, pruned for clearance, stump ground, palm cleaned
- What is near it: the roof, fences, sheds, pools, paving, or the power line to the house
- Access: side gate width, steps, slopes and where a truck could park
- Photos of the whole tree and the base of the trunk
Trees that might need approval
If the property is heritage-listed, the tree might be on a council significant tree register, or the tree is on the verge, mention it. Our council approval guide explains what to check.
Boundary trees
